About Us

Alpha Phi Fraternity was founded in 1872 by ten of the first female students at Syracuse University. These women envisioned an expansive sisterhood and set the tone for Alpha Phi through their leadership and organizational practices. These women had a clear vision of sisterhood and had the confidence in each other to make an impact, much like our sisters today.
